Prof. Thomas Lange

Professor Thomas Lange is a PhD qualified economist and a proud Alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

His career leadership positions included Associate Dean Research, Executive Dean, Pro Vice Chancellor, Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor Research, and Acting Vice Chancellor in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Aged 29 at conferment, he became Britain’s youngest Full Professor in a Business discipline. His publications feature in several elite, high impact, Q1 ranked premier outlets, e.g. Human Resource Management, British Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Small Business Economics, The Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Business Research, among many others. He holds several, senior editorial roles, including editorial leadership functions for the Q1 ranked International Journal of Manpower (Associate Editor) and the British Journal of Management (Advisory Board Member). He is also Founding Editor-in-Chief of the journal Evidence-based HRM. During his career, he initiated, designed and managed multiple formal partnerships with such world-class universities as Fordham, Georgetown, Ghent, Jönköping, Maastricht, Missouri–St. Louis, Nanjing, and the University of Oxford.

Professor Lange is an invited Fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In recognition of his contributions to the development of global higher education, a Fellowship was also bestowed by the Commercial Education Society of Australia (CES), the country's First Society of Business Education.
