According to the World University Rankings published by Times Higher Education, Abu Dhabi University has achieved the top spot in the UAE for the teaching pillar. 2023-24 Times Higher Education Global Employability University Ranking has once again ranked ADU as the best in the United Arab Emirates for graduate employability. This important yardstick for effective education rated ADU top in the UAE, 2nd in the GCC and 3rd in the Arab region. These results place ADU well within the top 250 universities worldwide that THE has cited for the value of its graduates an elite group of institutions led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Oxford University. The 5 QS Stars rating reflects ADU's superior performance across key indicators that are vital to the success of a higher education institution. These include the internationalization category, in which ADU received a full score for both student and faculty international diversity, international collaborations and international support center.

ADU also achieved 100% in the teaching category for both student and teaching satisfaction. The University earned 100% in employer reputation and career service support under the employability category, as well as in the facilities category for library expenditure, student clubs and societies.

ADU has been recognized for its excellence in online learning, earning the highest rating of 5 stars by the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds - QS Stars Rating for year 2021.

On its debut in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, ADU's College of Business Accounting and Finance ranked 251-300 Globally and 2nd in the UAE.
