ADU offers valuable support to undergraduate students through the Undergraduate Research Scholarship Fund initiative. This program is an integral part of our 'Learning through Research' initiative, which not only fosters lifelong learning but also enhances students' employability by equipping them with the essential skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market. The primary goal of this scholarship program is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in independent research by offering financial support in the form of grants.

Currently, there are two funding options available to students:

• Capstone Research
• Independent Research

The criteria of the funding include:

• A team consisting of a maximum of five students may be appointed for each project.
• The student(s) must be enrolled in undergraduate programs.
• Each team must have at least one faculty member serving as their supervisor.
• The team must partake in the annual Undergraduate Research Competition.
• The scholarship is valid until the end of the academic year in which it was awarded.

Each eligible team can receive funding of up to AED 3,500.
