Dr. Bassam Alfeeli has a diverse career that spans leadership and technical roles in advanced technologies. Equipped with academic degrees in Computer & Electrical Engineering, he served on several technical and advisory committees at the national and organizational levels as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Science & Innovation Centers. He also served as judge in several hackathons and startup competitions including NASA Space Apps, EXPO2020 Dubai Innovation Grant, and many others.

Alfeeli is the Founder and the General Manager of a space technology company and have led several private space missions which included a science payload in 2020, a CubeSat in 2021 and currently directing Orbital Space Lunar Mission targeting to launch the first privet Arab mission to the surface of the Moon in 2026.

He is also advocating for Digital Skills development including AI tools within private corporations through his role as the Director of Enterprise Development at a private foundation for the advancement of sciences.

Alfeeli holds a Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech in Microelectromechanical Systems. He completed his post-doctoral research at MIT and worked as a Research Scientist at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research. He is also a life-long space enthusiast and was trained by NASA Astronauts and Engineers on Space Systems at the Florida Space Institute.
