As Dean of the College of Arts, Education, and Social Sciences (CAESS), Dr. Sreethi is focused on expanding academic offerings, enhancing global visibility,  fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring alignment with ADU's strategic goals. As a diversity champion, she drives recruitment and strengthens industry partnerships, positioning the College as a leader in addressing global societal challenges. Dr. Nair helps ADU elevate its reputation and contribute to regional and international educational development by nurturing academic collaborations and fostering community engagement.  She works towards enhancing student success, first-year experience, future work skills competencies, and academic support, and she is firm in her belief that student success is highly correlated to faculty development.

Following her master's and bachelor's degrees in psychology, Dr. Nair completed her Ph.D. in Psychology in 2002 at the University of Kerala, India, focusing on student academic habits, procrastination behavior, and study skills. She is a continuous learner who thrives on adding more skill sets for personal and professional growth. The Management Development Program (2015) conducted by the Harvard School of Graduate Studies, Harvard University, the Principal Fellowship from Advance Higher Education UK  (2023), and becoming an internationally accredited certified life coach and a six-way meditation trainer (2024) are key among these.

Before joining Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Nair was a psychology faculty member at the Teacher's Training College in India. She also worked as a consultant psychologist for various higher education institutions in Kerala, India.

Dr. Nair's area of expertise is education psychology and students' skill development for future careers. She practices varying techniques that support students in identifying and developing their future profiles, highlighting her interest in curricula development and teaching & learning practices that support students holistically.
