Neighbour to The British International School and Abu Dhabi University, Blossom Nursery Zayed City is the perfect stop for families also having older siblings or already thinking about big school. Our Blossom Nursery is one of our largest and most modern centers across the UAE, it displays a homely feeling pre-school environment for young children up to 6 years old. All our classrooms are filled in with natural light and spacious dedicated areas, while our vast outside playground features a splash pad area, picnic space, sandpit, swings, hills and many more for endless explorations.

Who We Are

Experts in Early Years Education with A Child Specific, Holistic Offering for Children from 8 Weeks To 5 Years Of Age

A seed was planted in 2009 from which something magical grew, and which has now become a beautiful tree with strong roots and many green leaves and flowers. Like the flowers in our logo, our children’s brains Blossom academically, physically and emotionally, and our ethos embraces their bodies, their minds and their understanding of our planet.

The Blossom Nursery Group was born with the mission of supporting Early Years Education in the UAE. We truly believe that every child deserves to get the best start to their journey in life, which will drive their future life as adults and maximize their potential. Research highlights that 90% of a child’s adult intelligence is formed before the age of five, and we aim to expand this development by offering educational activities and experiences that promote optimal brain development.

We are an extension of your family.

In the UAE, children are raised amongst their families, with the love of their parents and sometimes grandparents, but also often supported by a nanny who will provide the first care for a little one. They spend time interacting with friends in the playground enjoying free play and self-discovery, which is crucial for their development. In our nurseries, guided by our experts, we aim to build on this by supporting them, through suitable age-appropriate stimulations and activities, to allow them to connect socially and emotionally with other children in a controlled environment.

We are evolving along with families, as their needs change in line with the world around us.

The emerging trend of working mothers has changed the landscape of the childcare market. As a result, families need a safe, reliable structure which will provide high-quality care for their children whilst maximising their development during the crucial early years period.

Finally, we understand that Early Years Education is not a trend, but is a reality, and that through a quality education our children will become the drivers of our future world who will make positive impacts on our planet and its people.

We are pioneers and our mission perfectly meets the aims and ambitions of the region.

Considering the evolving market, and the strong ambition of the UAE to become a world leading nation, we created a pioneer brand 10 years ago that focuses on the child first, but will also evolve People, Planet and Prosperity.

Thanks to all our families, and our talented team, we have become one of the leading providers of Early Years Education in the UAE. Working together with each family, we ensure that each child’s nursery experience is a nurturing foundation of learning and educational opportunities that offers a bright start and promising future. We aim to be your child’s second Home.

Our Philosophy and Approach

5.6.5_Photo3

The first 5 years of a child’s life build the foundations of their future development and potential in adult life.  Research demonstrates that early childhood education is an essential building block for a child’s future success, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development.

Children learn best when they feel comfortable and happy in their environment and at Blossom nurseries we believe in providing an environment that maximizes each child’s development and learning opportunities.   At our nurseries, each child and parent becomes part of our family.

We believe our curriculum should reflect the children, families, and wider community within which we are located.  At Blossom we are continually developing our pedagogical approach in response to the realities of the modern-day world. Our modern approach to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum creates opportunities for teachers to foster open-ended, child-led activities which harness the child’s intrinsic curiosities. Furthermore, we believe children are inherently connected to nature and at Blossom it is our pedagogical imperative to nurture this connection.

At Blossom nurseries we believe in providing an environment that is appropriate for enhancing each child’s development.  It has been said that play is a child’s work. At Blossom we create opportunities for play, discovery, and exploration, to support each child’s growth and development. We believe each child is unique, and the educator’s role is to scaffold a child’s development at the pace suitable to them.

When your child leaves our nursery to move to their next chapter of schooling, they will be a confident and curious learner with strengths in all areas of development including personal, social, and emotional development, language and communication, numeracy and literacy. We believe our role is to support not only a child’s overall development, but also foster a love of learning!

Extra Weeks and Camps

Our Blossom nurseries are open all year round as we appreciate that many of our parents work and need year round options for their child.  Outside of our publicized term dates we run holiday camps during the summer period and half term, spring and winter breaks.

Our holiday camps all have a dedicated theme and children still follow educational, fun activities based on the theme for each particular camp. Camp attendance is available to all our families, being optional for families on our Academic plan and included for families on our Full Year Plan.

Introduction

Sustained economic growth cannot be achieved without social inclusion as the whole of society has a role to play in the development of a country. Federal Law No. 13 of 1972 and its amendments by the law (No.2) in 2001 was issued by the Ministry of Community Development.

(MOCD) as the first law to provide social benefits to members of the community to ensure and sustain the high quality of living for all UAE citizens. The Ministry continues to work today on enhancing social inclusion for all members of society where social benefits are extended to cover twenty-one segments of the community.

The UAE government has a future vision to change the culture of social support from the current ‘social welfare’ model to ‘sustainable social development’ that encourages independence and growth of families across the UAE.

ADU is determined to overcome all challenges that ADU and our students might face as a result of the poverty. We continue to be dedicated to empowering and inspiring outstanding students to pursue their goals. Our scholarships and financial aid programs are available to all students who want to fund their academic programmes. We consider it our duty to provide equal opportunities to students interested in pursuing higher education, enabling them to contribute to society regardless of their financial situation.

In additional to financial aid, ADU scholarships are being provided to outstanding students, through seven main categories, including the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship, the President’s Scholarship, the University Scholarship, the Academic Scholarship, the Athletic Scholarship, the Alumni Scholarship, and the Family Tuition Waiver.
