IELTS has been carefully curated to provide a fair and accurate assessment of English language proficiency.
Offering a choice of Academic and General Training tests, the questions are all developed by language specialists from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA.
The test is split into four sections:

- Speaking
Although that might sound like a lot of work, it’s really nothing to worry about.
The different sections reflect the kind of familiar English interactions you might encounter in everyday life, and they are designed to be relatable and accessible to people of all different backgrounds.
Basically, the kinds of topics and situations you cover in your test are very likely to be useful out in the real world.
However, the content of the reading and writing tests will differ depending on whether you are doing the Academic or General Training IELTS.
As an official IELTS test centre, you will complete the listening, reading, writing sections on paper in one of Abu Dhabi University’s examination rooms, while the speaking test is carried out face-to-face with a trained IELTS examiner on campus.
