Sustainable Solutions for Government Services - 2023
In line with the ideals of the 3rd Annual Software Engineering Design Contest, which aligns with the UAE Programming Day, championed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, we are embracing a greener perspective this year.
This challenge invites students to reflect on their daily interactions with government services and identify opportunities for environmental improvement. Participants are tasked with selecting an e-government/m-government process and envisioning an innovative feature that not only enhances efficiency but also advances sustainability. Alternatively, students can propose smart digital solutions aimed at reducing single-use plastic consumption in public spaces and offices, with a strong emphasis on user-friendliness for both citizens and government employees.
