Effective Communication Within a Team Environment

A good relationship with others starts with good communication. This is the primary vehicle for influencing others, getting things done, breaking down barriers, getting to know strangers, and deepening your knowledge of those you know.

  • Understand the impact of culture on communication
  • Communicate interculturally, whether speaking or listening, with confidence and ease
  • Understand the assumptions inherent in your thought processes
  • Identify ways to respectfully question others about the mental models they utilize in thinking and decision making
