Abu Dhabi University Selected for Prestigious 10+10 Arab-Chinese Universities Program
Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is honored to announce its nomination to represent the UAE in the esteemed 10+10 Arab-Chinese Universities Program, an initiative spearheaded by the Association of Arab Universities (AArU). This significant collaboration was unveiled at the First International Conference on Universities and Artificial Intelligence Technology, held recently in Amman, Jordan.
The 10+10 Arab-Chinese Universities Program seeks to establish ten collaborative groups, focusing on information and communication technology, agricultural development, healthcare and medical services, green innovation, energy transition, dialogue between civilizations, youth talent development, public policies, space technology, economic, commercial, and investment fields, to promote exchange and development between Arab and Chinese universities. ADU's designated area of focus is "Economic, Trade, and Investment," in partnership with the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in China.
The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Chen Chuandong, the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan, Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), and Prof. Yan Chunhua, Vice President of the China Association of Higher Education.
Representing Abu Dhabi University at this momentous event were Prof. Ghassan Aouad, Chancellor of ADU, and Prof. Sherine Farouk, Associate Provost for Academic Projects and Internationalization.
