BA in Mass Communication (English); Bachelor of Mass Communication (Arabic); BA in psychology; BA in International Relations; Professional Diploma in Teaching (English); MSc in Special Education; MEd in Educational Leadership, MA in Digital Communication and Technology and a PhD in Education. CAESS also provides General Education requirement courses for all undergraduate programs in the areas of Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences.

The focus of this professional diploma in teaching is placed on practical teaching experience, both school-based and within our micro-teaching laboratory.
About the program
If you are passionate about teaching and delivering a high-quality learning experience then this professional diploma in teaching in the UAE, delivered in English, is for you. Blending practical experience with theoretical study, the program prepares you to teach in both public and private schools.
The focus is placed on practical teaching experience, both school-based and within our micro-teaching laboratory. This is combined with the latest research into effective teaching and learning strategies. You will learn to plan, design, critically review and implement a curriculum, including material development. This program prepares you to teach a variety of subjects, examines classroom management strategies and the use of education technology.
You will gain skills that will enable you to design curricula and learning environments that will fully engage students in the learning process, taking into account different learning styles and special needs. You will study policy behind curriculum design, as well as analyze and evaluate different evaluation techniques.
We graduated over 3000 students from this program between 2011 and 2017, building a strong network of schools both nationally and regionally. These special relationships mean we remain fully responsive to the needs of the market we are serving.

This past year, I completed the Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Education at Abu Dhabi University. The program provided me with the skills and knowledge to teach in both public and private schools in the UAE. The course places a huge emphasis on the practical skills required to teach effectively, such as lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and tailoring lessons based on different learning styles, to name but a few. Graduates of this program have gone on to teach in both government and private schools within the UAE and across the region.
Electives allow you to become a subject-specific teacher in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Science, Mathematics, English, Social Studies or Information Technology.
Graduates can also take up education management roles, as well as non-teaching positions such as counselors and advisors.
Entry requirements
Bachelors Degree
Directly related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 on a 4.00-point scale, from an accredited university recognized by the UAE’s Ministry of Education- Higher Education Affairs.
International Students
We also welcome applications from students with a variety of bachelor degrees from an accredited university recognized by the UAE’s Ministry of Education- Higher Education Affairs, upon their successful completion of any required program foundation courses. These applicants will be granted admission into the program after the successful completion of some business foundation courses. Transfer Students
Postgraduate transfer students may apply for credit transfer for courses taken prior to joining Abu Dhabi University only once, when they first apply for admission. For more information on requirements for credit transfer, visit Postgraduate Transfer Students.
Tuition fees structure & calculation
Tuition is based upon the College and/or Department classification as opposed to the course classification or level. Tuition rates for undergraduate students vary from the tuition rates for graduate students.
The tuition fee calculations are an example only and are based on the assumption that elective courses will be taken with the College that the student is taking their major with. However, if the student selects elective courses outside of this College, the total cost payable may increase or decrease to reflect the tuition rate of the College where the elective is delivered.
Costs of books and supplies are not included in the Tuition and Fees. Students at Abu Dhabi University are also required to pay certain fees and other costs to attend the University. Abu Dhabi University reserves the right to change tuition and fee rates at any time. A tuition schedule is published prior to registration for each semester.
