Abu Dhabi University is pleased to announce the commencement of the 11th Undergraduate Research and Innovation Competition.
The competition is open to all Undergraduate Students enrolled in universities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Participants in the UAE are required to attend the main event day at Abu Dhabi University, Abu Dhabi campus. Overseas participants, on the other hand, have the option to join virtually.
A mentor is a faculty member at your university who has agreed to supervise and oversee the team's research project. A team can comprise a maximum of two faculty mentors. Any submissions without a faculty mentor will be automatically disqualified.
At least one student member and up to five student members are allowed per team. Additionally, each team must have at least one faculty mentor, with a maximum of two faculty mentors.
A maximum of two submissions are allowed per team.

Yes, the competition’s official language is English only.
No, there is no registration fee to participate.
No, the competition schedule is strictly adhered to, and the submission portal is closed after the deadline. Submissions via email will not be accepted.
